RWM Bro.Tom Harold and Secretary Bro. Brian Fleming completed the Kiltwalk in 7 hours today (Sunday 10 April 2011) and raised over £950 for TACC. Our grateful thanks go to all who supported our efforts. All that remains is for the blisters to heal!
Grateful thanks to Lodge Clydesdale 551; Lodge Major Ness 948; Lodge Meridian 1779; Lodge Clydebank 1234; Lodge Livingstone 599; Lodge St Bryde, Uddingston 579 and Lodge Hamilton 233 who all made generous donations to our TACC Kiltwalk 2011 fundraising campaign.
Since 2006 TACC has raised over £104,000 to donate to children’s charities’ in places wherever the Scottish national team is playing. TACC of course raises money for children’s charities’ at home too and the main beneficiary from the Kiltwalk 2011 will be CHAS at Robin House Loch Lomond. CHAS runs the only hospice in Scotland for children and young people with life shortening conditions.
This is the Secretarys first venture into sponsored activity and above all he sees it as a real personal challenge and he loves a challenge!
If you choose to donate you can do so on-line at the Virgin Money Giving website http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/BrianFleming
Remember when you donate, to provide your name and address with postcode so that an additional 28% is added to your donation by means of Gift Aid.
Thank you in anticipation
